Angry ls1 running too rich.

hello i have an ongoing issue with my car for about 6 months and have not been able to spot it it runs too rich my mods are MS3 Cam, LT Headers, 4400 Stall, 4.10s it has a speed density tune and never smelled bad even when i had a dumped bullet, now i run a flowmaster to cover some fumes but still gets me high while driving. Now i have replaced the following suspects: MAF, MAP, IAT, TPS, TEMP, and O2 Sensors , plug and wires, cleaned injectors and cleaned IAC and still too rich, ive notice it fouls my plugs with a little ring of oil..

If it is a speed density tune, why does it have a MAF? Is it throwing any codes? If you have a MAF, are you running O2 sensors?

the person that had the car said the sd tune worked out better than a maf tune, i have a maf and 2 o2 sensors, i replaced the maf recently cus it was detected as too high signal in ecm via a snap-on scanner but had no ses light..if i disconnect the maf it revs up and down

everything was fine with this current tune, dumped bullet and no fumes at all. it just started smelling like raw gas and increasing over time..looks like it spits raw gas through tailpipes

I would say it is the tune. The MAF should be off with a SD tune.

coil packs almost never go bad at all...much less a whole row

you would know if there were dead coils...combustion in the exhaust like crazy

This. Coils are either 100% working or dead and you'd probably have some codes being thrown. Why is there a MAF on the car if it's a SD tune? Get that off, and even if you think the tune is good, get a graph of it (how it is now) and post it up here.

SD tune may change a little if there is a drastic change in climate. You usually don't use the MAF when you have a SD tune though. Why is your tuner still using it?

ok update: i got a hold of the tuner, and said there was no maf needed, so the p0103 i had on will always be on, he said might be an open injector leaking, so im gonna take it to him next week.

SOLVED: ok i just finished working on it, turns out it was the dumbest, and sneakiest of all.. it was one of the pins from the 7th coil. i found out by plugging a spark tester indicating no spark, and when i took it off i saw that one of the pins from the coil was dented and not connecting.. i guess since the other 3 were connected the ecm never caught it..

Glad you got it figured out. Just curious though, could you not feel the misfire in the engine with that coil out?
