+1 for x-pipe and dynomax bullets. I also went the cheap route and got eBay LT's for $190 new lol! Been on the car for 1 1/2years.. No issues. Get good header gaskets tho.

Best sound will come from true duals with no crossover at all, IMO. H-pipe will be the second best sound (and very close to straight duals), and X-pipe will be the most mellow/smooth and different of the three. Don't get me wrong, all will sound good, but the most muscular note will come from no crossover.
Now, best power is a different discussion. If that is your primary goal, the three options above fall in reverse order, with X-pipe being the top choice, H-pipe being a close second, and straight duals last.

are you doing headers??
Get you a set of Pacesetters (pretty cheap) and texas speed true duals.
then get your self a tune and you'll feel like your driving a different car.
if your going to get a shop to fab some duals for you, i would suggest going with bullets over the flowmasters
and as everyone else is pretty much saying, go with an X-pipe, there is a reason most everyone chooses an X-pipe over a H-pipe
