are you all talking about the piece that sticks below the car that gets caught on curbs when you pull up to far...cause i took out some plastic crap that was between the radiator and the other thing that looks like a radiator (i don't know what that it is)...and actually i run a little cooler...

Hey guys, that brings up a good point. I KNOW I dont need to remove the part underneath my car that deflects air upwards, but what about the ugly plastic junk behind the windshield washer fluid, and the peice between the condensor and radiator???

The only reason I ask is I am planning on removing the foam in the front bumper and putting a new grill in, and figured if i could get that out of the way, the air from the grill plus the air from the bottom would make it cool better? plus look cleaner in the engine bay. any input appreciated, TIA

i think when this thread was started he was actually talking about his air baffle, when i did the free ram air mod and lid w/filter i tore mine out as opposed to cutting it and my temp stays under 185 or pretty close. When i did my mods all i found in there was some old leaves and a plastic trash bag ....so to sum it up do what u want to it's your car just keep an eye on everything...........good luck
