i remember reading that article also however i don't think gm was concerned
w/resleeving for max horsepower when they designed the breathable
crankcase(weaker structurally). Also people that buy c5s probably like the
fixed roof coupe look, vented brake calipers and 150 less pounds. Thinner
glass, aluminum perimeter frame, taller first gear trans, and 295 rubber out
back. Plus corvette guy likes the badges that say i'm a bad ****

Just trying to clarify this for myself, Differences are Cam, Heads, Intake, Manifolds, and some kind of porting inside block that creates no power gain. So if you took a stock LS1 and Stock LS6 and installed the same aftermarket Cam/Heads/Intake/Headers on each they should put down roughly same power correct?
