There should be lots of results of home ported 241 and 243 casting in the
stickies or else thread search......most time pocket book dictates which
way to go and others just want to prove the point that stock heads are
pretty darn good...... Good luck whichever way you choose

Stock heads can make great power when worked. For many years all we had to work with were stock castings, people made great numbers with them, and they still do.
