Default Best cam for daily driver with stock 243's

My goal is a daily driver with 400ish RWHP (good drivability). I will be running a rebuilt LS1 with stock (unported) 243's and other supporting mods (LID, MAF, ported TB, LS6 intake, 1 3/4" Kooks headers, Off road Y-pipe, Flowmaster, and tune. Is the TSP 228R cam (228/228 .588/.588, LSA 112 or 114) a good match for the stock (unported) 243's with this goal in mind? Which LSA would be the best with this cam (112 choppy idle or 114 smooth idle). I also considered the Livernois Stage 2 (232/232, .595/.595, LSA 114). Thanks in advance for any input!

get the bigger cam, the 232 will make more power, I have a tv.2 cam 232 234 .595 .598 and still get 22 mpgs on the highway. your bolt-ons and tune will affect your 400rwhp and mpg goals.

your should be in the 390-400 range if auto, a 6-speed should hit 400-410 easy.

I went with a 113 lsa on my cam, i was told a 112 would have gained 5hp on the big end.

My brother is using unported 243s with a 228r and he's putting out 430 with a 96mm intake and tb with stock like drive ability.

Between your choices i would go with the bigger cam. You will be surprised how much more of a cam you could have stepped up to, just as long as your tuner tunes it spot on. I have a 230/227 cam and never rode in a cammed car. I honestly could step up to more cam.
