It's really not that bad, it shouldn't take very long at all.

It's been a while since I did a brake job on an F-body but I think the caliper is held on with a 13mm or a 15mm and the bracket is an 18mm. Like I said, it's been a while so I might be wrong.

They will only be on original brakes, if they're on there cut them off with a pair of Dykes or snips.

Your gonna need the a metric socket set or wrenches, a hammer, small prybar, caliper compressor or c-clamp, a few cans of brake clean and a wire brush.
Make sure you clean the brackets up with a wire brush and use the new retaining clips that come with the new pads. Lube up the contact areas where the pads slide on the caliper bracket and the slides. The new pads should come with some grease.
If your doing the rears, make sure you have the parking brake off first. Sometimes the rotors are a pain to get off, just hit them with a hammer between the studs a few times and they should come right off.
It's really not bad. I can probably change all 4 rotors and pads in a hour if I tried. Just don't set the e-brake and try to take the rear rotors off. Use a 6" c-clamp and the old pad the compress the cylinders. Oh, remove the cap from the reservior (remove some fluid if it's full) to make room for the fluid pushed back. An LS1 car should just have standard bolts instead of Torx or Hex bolts.
I thought it was a piece of cake. The first one took me about 90 minutes taking my time and making sure I was doing everything right. The other three were about 30 mintues each.
It should be 2 15mm bolts on the caliper itself and 2 that hold on the bracket. Make sure to pull the slides out and make sure they are greased. Also put some grease under the metal plates that the pads sit on. Sometimes after you have them apart and they are not greased they will cause a really annoying speak and squeel. Good luck. Dont let it scare you it really isnt hard at all.
