I just checked under the car and it is the stock muffler, the cat's are still there as well, I'm positive. I guess they just sound like this stock, I don't remember my Dad's stock '02 WS6 being as throaty as this SS but whatever, I'm not complaining!![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)

Based on your pic that is the stock GM SS exhaust. I had the same GM SS Exhaust (2.5" rolled tips) on my 2002 SS and the sound was suprisingly mean at idle for a stock exhaust especially with a cold start, so I see why you would think your stock GM SS exhaust sounded aftermarket. I changed mine out for an old SLP dual/dual setup which has a quieter idle but is much louder at WOT.
