advice on heads
i recently found these heads for sale for not to bad of a price was wondering if they were worth it over my stock heads on my ls1. i know any head upgrade is worth it really but for the money $700 for the pair is this a steal or are they crap heads not to even bother with

Why do you want a bare set? I paid $1700 for mine ready to go and IMO WAAAY better than unworked Darts or any Patriot head. Powerwise the TEA 2.5's are close but the casting is not as good. Hell the TEA 2.5's are pretty much the same $$$ minus the metal guides or RR's needed for the TFS..

they are "as cast" not porting or polishing and bare...going to have way more than 700 in them before they are ready to go on your car. i would suggest maybe some dart's, patriots, or TEA stage 2.5 ls6 heads for the money.

Those are some good heads man but they are right. You can get a set fully assembled for $1000.00 more and brand new. I have the Trick Flow 215cnc heads on my car. Worth the money indeed..
