Advice:
Install an automatic with a decent stall. Now all your suspension requirements and possible driver error become eliminated. You run a decent drag radial or a ET STREET Bias Ply and have virtually zero traction issues.
If you insist on a M6 driveline, your going to have issues and on the street its going to be even tougher then at the track. Shocks, springs, LCA's, sticky tire, and possibly a 2 step you should have.
Now this is all based on a 1/4" mi or stop light to stop light.
I never promote street racing but if I were to do it again like in my youth, the car would be like how I first suggested it and make it as light as possible but keep it stock appearing. A really stealth approach to it.
