Default ported throttle body problem

I just installed a ported throttle body on my trans am and for some strange reason my car idles a little higher now, whenever im driving and coming to a dead stop my car revs a little high then when i stop it kinda calms down a little but it still revs pretty high, what can i do?

I'd suggest disconnecting the battery for about a half our. Then, reconnect, and let it relearn it's idle and what-not. If that doesnt work, read THIS page and do both.

Could it be that i have to adjust the screw under the throttle lever?

Don't get me to lying. I've done my best to never have to touch that damned thing out of fear of screwing something up.

Have you tried what I suggested yet? Be prepared, car will run like **** for a few minutes, but will relearn after that. Be sure to cycle the AC and all too periodically

If you still have issues after the re-learn cycle check for vacuum leaks... i had a very similar problem:
