GM Engine ID # ???
Does anybody know where I can cross refrence my Engine ID #. The iD # is 10G76 K033561288.. Part # is 89017548 got these #'s off the Work Order. GM just replaced my engine and I would like to Find out exactly what engine they put in it? I know its different my 160 degree Hypertech stat out of old engine wont fit its to big?? Anyone know of any websites ect.. where I might get Engine ID Info??

i guess that was kinda the prob... its not one there...
the whole ls1 / ls6 block and motor info is there but not the number you gave.... strange for sure...
your best bet would be to find your block part #...
its right under your driverside head in the back ....
that number is what will tell you what they put in ...
the number you gave might be an inshop part #???

the 241's came on the 01-02 models and they made 5-10 more poney then years b4 them...
i cant say for sure that the heads flowed better but they might have had something to do with it....(as well as the ls6 intake)
but 241's are what yours SHOULD have ... being thats its a 01...
