crank position location?

Default crank position location?
does anyone up here know where the crank position sensor is located?any help would be greatly appreatiated,i have ls1 98

Just above the starter on the rear passenger side of the block. Probably have to at least unbolt the starter from the block to get to the CKPS, if not remove it completely.
