New to forum, just went to track last fri night...is my ride slow?:
1/8 mile
8.703
2.1 60'
83 mph
was my best
On street tires, mods:
flowmaster, k/n, free mods...be brutally honest, I can take it....

I wouldn't say slow but what elevation is your track at? Did you do all the free mods yet? I'd say you ran pretty good considering the 60' time was a 2.1. I'd add some drag radials & a cutout and go back. that would be good enough for a 8.3-8.4 time slip, Fred

I am scared(yea I know..scared) to put something stiky on the back for fear that my lead foot will break the rear end. My next mod will be the VCM edit suite (as soon as its available), and after that a ls6 intake and headers (slp? anyone have a better brand in mind) with no egr or pcv. A question, does removing those hekp performance on a ls1? I have always run a pcv in my carburated cars....
you guys rock, thanks for the info...
