Default New question about handheld tuner!

First of all, i apologize for such a stupid newbish question but i just gotta know since i have NEVER owned a handheld tuner in my LIFE!!! Even that i have owned a couple of fbodies so far...

I have couple of questions!! Would a handheld tuner be able to tune my car and remove my check engine light with ALL the mods listed in my sig???

Stall and gears are coming on next week

Or should i just spend the 250 on a proper tune?

thanx

I used a hypertech on mine... got it for 130.00 so at the moment well worth the money... will be hitting track on friday and if the results are not ballpark of where I think I should be I will go get a dyno tune and sell the hypertech. Short answer...it will work, just have to get it cheap enough or you are better off with a real tune.

go to the tuning section and you should get more info about hand held tuning.a guy from Diablosport responds in that section to many questions about hand held tuning.

Handhelds have their place and can be a supplement to an actual tune or just convenient for the abilities that they do have.
