Default o2 extensions question

im putting in the bbk long tube headers this saturday will i need to get o2 extensions from what i see under the car it doesnt really look like i will seems like the ports line up on the headers where they are after the cats on stockers. may be diff for diff kits anyone seen the bbk install and saw if o2 extension was needed? if needed was thinking bout just splicing in extra wire

If I'm reading your psot correctly, you're talking about hooking up the rear O2s into the headers where the front ones need to go.
Either buy O2s, longer sensors, splice more wire or some rewire them so the ones in teh rear position do the job of the fronts.

nah not talking bout using the rear ones talking bout not using and extensions just plugging them right in to the port on the long tube

Any time the o2 sensor moves down the car you either need extentions or have them turned off, especially if you do not use aftermarket CATs.

I use a Corvette o2 sensor from Bosch and worked great and IMO better then doing plug in extentions or hacking the harness.

you can swap the o2 sensors on the computer and use the rear hook ups. About 15 min of work and save 30 or 40 bucks. There is a post on here by Merv about it.

i only needed 02 extensions for the driver side passenger fit with a little room to spare

One more vote for swapping the pins on the ecm plug. I found the write-up and it worked like a charm!
