Default which y-pipe

i bought a hooker cat-back a few weeks ago and am very happy with it.now it's time for more.what y-pipe are you guys running.alabama doesn't have smog rules so off road is fine.i still have stock manifolds and at the most i may change to later model ones.i've read that they flow a little better.so who's running what.thanks

personally, if I could do it all over again, I would get some nice stainless longtubes, and then have a custom y pipe made from a reputable exhaust shop that mergers into a flowmaster collector. most of the aftermarket y pipes you will get will have to be played around with to fit properly...especially if the catback is all ready in place. Also, with a set of longtubes, you will get a nice smile on your face every time you start the car

CYP is a catted y pipe and that's what I'm trying to run once it gets to a muffler shop.

get a set of bbk long tubes they have the best fitment and the kit comes with a bbk y pipe that fits right up with it. best of all kit was not expensive at all look on there site. these are by far the easiest long tube install ive ever done or seen. and best fitment and clearance. this setup will eliminate your cats and make your car run louder and you will notice a difference trust me

Why on earth would you swap manifolds for other manifolds? Throw some $500 TSP 1 7/8" LT's on there and have an exhaust shop fabricate up a custom Y-pipe for you all for under $1K. Just my $.02

my $.02...pacesetter LTs and ORY for around $400 from maryland speed, slightly more if you get coated, which i would recommend, I went uncoated for price and theyre pretty rusty

While I don't disagree with this, I just this it's too good a deal to pass up on the TSP stainless headers. Never buy headers again, and be done for $550ish. Do the poly motor mounts and a quick tuneup while you're under the car and have that handled as well.

That is a great deal on stainless, either way just get rid of stock manifolds, especially since one has a cat in it

i like manifold s because you don't have to fight leaks but just for ****'s and giggles,out of all the headers everyones running who's truthfully not having to tighten them up all the time.

I went with ceramic coated pacesetterLT's, tsp y pipe slp cat back, amazing HP and response gain...never had a problem with tsp y pipe

OP- ORY is illegal in every state I think. But if you dont have headers you will have very few choices of Y pipes out there. Headers+ Y pipes are pretty much a combo. Get both at once
