I'm going to look at some junk yards for either 243's or other 6.0 heads. What all vehicles did they come on so that i know what to look for? Thanks!

2005-2006 Pontiac GTO (ls2)
2005-2006 Chevrolet SSR (ls2)
2005-2007 Chevrolet Corvette (ls2)
2001-2004 Chevrolet Corvette z06 (ls6)
2006-2007 Cadillac CTS-V (ls6)
2006-2009 Chevrolet TrailBlazer SS (ls2)
2008-2009 Saab 9-7X Aero (ls2)


Trucks/Vans with Vortec 5300 and Vortec 6000 (just read the heads casting number) Those are prolly the easiest to find, however the ls6 heads are better to buy for the valves

I would like some 243 heads also.

Only Z06 Vette (01-04) 243s have the lightweight hollow stem intake, sodium
filled exhaust valves which are 0.0236" longer....this helps with smaller base
circle (higher lift) cams.
