Ok well if there is already a thread please point me to it. But I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the ls6 intake from slp. I have an 02 T/A which is suppose to come with a ls6 intake manifold. Well mine has a plug which looks like it is plugging an egr hole which isnt suppose to be there. I was told that maybe it wasnt an ls6 but there are no mods and it made 315 and its an auto. So the only intake I found was the one slp use to make which was a ls6 with an egr hookup. does anyone know anything about it? Ill try and post pics of what im working with when I get back into town fri night.

There are a handful of ls6 intakes with the EGR provision but they are kinda scarce... there are also ls1 intakes without egr and from the top, to an untrained eye, they look like an LS6 intake.

Just locate your casting number and google it... it will come up with something quickly..




This is the difference.. the flat bottom is an LS6,

Always go by the casting # Vette LS1 intakes had a flat bottom as well..
