Wich Heads Gasket???
I have my 241 cylinder heads out and I am planning to get heads gaskets but I don't know what bore size, how much thickness and brand should I get??? I've seen Cometics brand with different thickness sizes and bore sizes, what's the bore size for stock 241's and how thick should I get them to bring up more compression without milling.?, I'll be running TR Trak cam 231/234 .644/.598.

iv got 241 heads on my 5.7 ls1 and the ones iv got are a 3.910 bore head gasket, try a 0.030" or a 0.040" head gasket, either one will bring your comp up, iv got 0.027" head gaskets to go in mine to bring my comp up but iv also got -8cc dish pistons to go in.
Mine are Cometics: GM LS1 SB 3.910" BORE .027" MLS HEAD GASKET. Hope that helps.
Oh yeh don't forget to check your piston to valve clearance to make sure is all ok. Factory gasket size is 0.051" i think from memory.

Stock bore is 3.898" but don't go thinner than .040 as the factory pistons
usually sit between .006-.008" above the deck....This would put your quench
clearance in the low thirties which is tight and would bump your compression
another 3 tenths up from the factory .056" gasket
