Default My Car Keeps Setting Code PO420!

I know this is a cat fault, but it comes back immediately after I clear it. Anyone else having this problem?

Are your cats good? If they go bad, it will always set this code.

my 02 ss had the same code turned out to be a bad cat had it replaced under the 8 yr 80,000 emissions warranty.

Thanks for the info guys! The light went out by itself last night. Hopefully it was just some strange instance. If it comes back, I'll just take it to pontiac and let them deal with it.
