Definitely a worth while mod. You won't feel a difference with it alone but every little bit adds up.

It's one of those things I would say do if you got time on your hands or your bored and wanna send out stuff to get done on the car lol. Porting & Polishing a stock tb when you have just boltons you probably won't really gain even 1hp, maybe the throttle will feel more responsive but that's about it. If your doing more mods like heads/cam/intake etc etc, or even more then you might pick up anywhere from like 1-5hp. It's one of those things that you do when your bored basically I think of it as lol

There are gains to be had but...........
It has to be done right or you will be going backwards.
Common mistakes are grinding the stop and tp voltage goes too high
getting carryed away with a dremel and ******* up where the blade rests.
I seen some exchange deals that are very reasonably priced $100 or less.
On mine I gutted it and cut the ridge out on a lathe ground the throttle stop for 90*
opening and then slotted the tps for 4.6v max. You cut about .120 ridge out of it I belive it is worth while.

NO BODY KIT IT's AN AMERICAN CAR, NOT A RICER!!!!

S/C Down the road, I'd get an intake when you do that. Cam/Exhaust. Definitely get a intake and larger TB.

I'd only P/P the stock TB if I were to keep it as a bolt on car.

Just my .02¢

ported stock tb is the only choice for a bolt-on car imo.

invest into a nw 102 when you wanna go bigger.

Mightymouse runs in the 9's on a ls6 intake + p/p tb

in other words, your good.
