The Tick master is worth every penny in my book. I've heard of sticking pedals and high RPM lock out because the stock system is insufficient with upgraded clutches, I've never had one hiccup. Do it right and replace everything the first time.

The shitty stock m/c is one of the main reasons t56's need rebuilt. They don't move enough fluid, which causes your clutch to drag, which ruins your syncro's. So even if you don't care about the performance benefits a Tick m/c could save you from paying for a $1000 tranny rebuild.

What would you use to clean everything in there?

Depending on how gunky it is, usually I can get by with just a degreaser, but I have heard of people using something like Easy Off oven cleaner as well.

Please remember that a poly trans mount with rubber motor mounts equals broken tail shaft on tranny.

Really? 30k miles on my poly trans mount and rubber motor mounts. It's more likely with rubber motor mounts and a poly trans mount but not a 100 percent garuntee.

I used a basic all purpose cleaner (forgot which one..) then followed up with a heavy dose of undercarriage cleaner. Did a great job. Just take your time with it.

I put mine up on a lift and sprayed 2 cans of brite engine heavy duty engine degreaser under the car every where. Let it sit for 20 mins. Got out the pressure washer and went to town. It looks like its new know no grease on engine top and bottom and no grease on bottom. Everyone should do this once.

That's what I did exactly, 2 cans brite engine degreaser and a pressure washer. Turned out great.

M6 or auto? Much more risk with an M6, but not something I would do regardless.

M6. Never launched it on the slicks until I got poly motor mounts tho.
