Default LS1 engine swap

Hi everybody
I own a 71 chevelle and my question is.
Is it possible to put a LS1 engine from a late truck (vortec 6000)
in my car.And is the modification needed.
Dit some company made wiring hardness for this

There are kits for this kind of swap. Definitely try the hybrid section....

i never heard of a truck ever being made with the ls1 in it. gen 3 maybe but not ls1.

he meant gen III im sure....yes hotrod did two gen III chevelles. one was a 70 and one was a 67 if im not mistaken. both were LS6s. i believe the 6.0 liter block has the same dimensions as the LS1/LS6 block.
