Default Dyno temp

If i re-Dyno my car at a lower temperature how much more gains can i expect ?
when it was on the dyno it was 96 degrees outside and made 425 rwhp and 495rwt

can i expect higher numbers in say 50-60 degree weather?

First you need to find another dyno because you are not making 495 rwt. To answer your question though yes if it is an uncorrected graph and if it is SAE corrected it should be within a few rwhp/rwt.. Post your graph...

With your cam you will make more HP than TQ. Also look at your next graph and and make sure HP/TQ cross at 5250rpm. Since it is a mathematical equation it always crosses at 5250 look at my graph...

Why would both of my pulls have shown higher torque than horsepower ?

IDK but I would guess your car should make 380rwt give or take a bit. When I was a H/C/I 346 I made 417/383 then got better heads and it did 434/400 on a 230/234 cam...

Go look around in the dyno section and that should give you a better idea what your rwt number should be....

I think both of your numbers seem high, the TQ for sure. When I was full boltons and a 224/588/112lsa cam I made 389rwhp and 380 rwtq. 425 is what alot of people with H/C full boltons make, and if you can make 495rwtq I'm going to go see your tuner with my blower car thats makes 495 TQ

To your original ? You don't need a retune just for temp change, your Air inlet temp sensor will see the lower temp and make small adjustment itself.

holy moly lol yeah i'd definatly call the people who dynoed your car out..

i made 420hp and 374 ftlbs.. which i thought the torque was a bit low for what i have done to my motor... but eh.. it's only a number..

To answer your original question yes colder weather may yield slightly better dyno results but that doesn't mean you have that plus 10 HP all the time. Only at that temp. And honestly in flordia how often do we see that cold temps?

for every 10 degrees F you lower the intake temps you should usually gain 1% power as a general rule of thumb.what size engine do you have ?what heads do you have ?
