Repair Guide
2 questions:
I just bought a 2000 WS6. I don't know too much about cars, but I am pretty good at fixing things. I was wondering which repair manual most people recommend. I know of the Haynes brand, and I have used before.
I will have to do a complete overhaul of all the fluids. I was thinking of doing the oil change, rear diff, and transmission. Should I be changing any other fluids? coolant? brake fluid? The car has 10k on it.
Any other basic parts need to be changed? Fuel filter? PCV?
I have tried to reference a few LS1 tech how to guides, but still didn't have answers to a few of these questions. thanks.

With only 10k miles on the car, I would be much more concerned about getting that 12 year old coolant changed before I'd worry about the diff or trans fluid. So yes, definitely change the coolant if you're going to change anything.
Factory GM service manuals are far more comprehensive than Haynes would be. However, depending on what you're trying to fix/learn, the Haynes may or may not be good enough. I bought factory service manuals a long time ago, from Helms I believe, and they (3 volumes) were very expensive as compared to what a Haynes would cost.

....
Lots of flow charts and text explaining system diagnostics, also exploded views of things and some instructions included for certain items.
