ls1 mod looking to mod my ws6 right now it is bone stock looking to upgrade in power the motor only has 30,000 miles on it its a 2001 looking to spend around a 1000 right now was thinking about ls6 intake with a bigger throttle body??? any suggestions

Since you have a 2001 ls1 it already has a ls6 intake manifold. I would get a lid and full exhaust.
change to a poly trans mount from advance auto parts. $30 mod an it ELIMINATED my wheel hop. i deleted my egr, cats, air pump, an rear o2's. added a slp maf, lid, an smooth bellow. installed some cheap steal headers with 2.5 inch over the axel exhaust with flowmaster 40 series. installed monster stage 2 clutch with light weight flywheel. had it tuned at heintz racing in morrseville NC an it made 349 hp an 366 ftq at 6800rpms. mine is a 99 with the ls1 intake so i could have made another 10-15 whp with the ls6 intake.
untuned one the dyno with these mods it made 332hp. i dont remember the torque.
is it a auto or 6 speed? if its an auto then a 4000 stall with wake it up a ton.

Yeah OP it's up to what you want more of first? If you want sound and some performance then headers, ORY,LID, but if you want a good amount of performance fast then stall and tune
