$300 dollars for Pace Setter Long tubes, $100 -150 for mufflers, and the place I go to charged me $250 to fab me and x-pipe and install everything. (Except the LTs of course). All total that cost about $650-700.

Texas-speed 1-3/4 Longtubes, then true duals with Dynomax bullets dumped before the axle should sound really mean.

The headers are 399 so you should be able to do the rest of the duals and buy mufflers for 350.

If I ran Texas Speed and Performance 1-7/8 vs 1-3/4 do you think there would be that big of a difference in sound?

Your looking at most coated headers, no stainless. No catted Y or that nonsense. Just an extention off the header to a Muffler/dump before the Axle. Generally least expensive exhaust short of open header and saves weight.

Just noise, heat, vibration, and unwanted attention will be the compromise.

The primary size won't change the sound. 1-3/4 is all you would need on a relatively stock car. H/C/I, you would start looking into 1-7/8.

Hmmmm I kinda like the "noise" which to me sounds the best. The "vibration" just feels just to good..constant reminder of what your driving. Heat? hasen't been an issue with me i guess.
the unwanted attention is either the cops, oldies, or ricey haters which...who really gives a ****.. I get more positive attention comparably you could say.

TSP 1-3/4 stainless LT's for $400 and some kind of TD w/ mufflers dumped before the axle will most def be the cheapest and best route.
