Default Throttle body install issue..
Im installing a professional products 80mm tb on my stock ls1 intake. I had it installed with the adapter on and the throttle cable was too short and the blade would close all the way. Do i really need the adapter?

And the linkage(the tube at the top of the tb)is facing up instead of down like the stocker...

try installing it without the spacer, the intake throat may need to be massaged but it should work.

Yea. I just installed it without it. Everything works fine. Idles fine. And the throttle seems alot more responsive just from a few revs
