lowering question
thanks
Relocation brackets are necessary when lowering the vehicle to properly realign the suspension geometry. What happens is the lower control arm, which is ideally parallel to the ground, will be lower in the front than in the rear ... and that will be very bad for traction and could ultimately result in wheel hop and damaged rear-end bearings. BMR has bolt-in relocation brackets to bring the LCAs back into the parallel to the ground condition. They are about $110.
I would install them if it were me.
without them, after lowering and adding them at the
time, no skip at all. Probably the single biggest traction
improver, as far as suspension pieces, you can do.
Plus if you have Nittos or other sticky, and get into
hop, now you're making much harder driveline shock
when they do let loose and restick - which is how
stuff gets broke.
