daily driver build
Hey all I'm new to the LS1 platform, I just bought a 2000 T/A and I'm plannig to keep it as a daily driver.
I've been doing some research on what bolt-ons are good to get started and so far I'm considering:
1. Lid and filter
2. long headers and Y pipe
3. tune
4. ported TB
5. ls6 intake
I've already ordered some of those and I'm leaving gears and stall out of the question for now because I'm under the impression that it will hurt my MPGs a lot, but I'm opened to opinions and suggestions.
I've also left the stock muffler in as I don't want it to be too loud, but I would also like to know how much of a restriction is the stock muffler.
I might also consider a small or Z06 cam in the near future if I feel I still want to get a bit more out of it.
Any ideas are appreciated.
thanks!

the only time a stall will hurt your mpgs s when you are driving around on the street, not locked up. once it gets locked up it will be the same (ie. highway speeds). Also, a higher stall converter will take more rpms to get the car moving
