A4 4.10 guys

What size tire? A 26' tire should be good to around 112/113 with the stock setting on the rev limiter and a stock torque converter. A cam and a nice stall could extend that out as well as a taller tire.

I've driven a stalled a4 with 4.10's and I currently own an a4 with 3.73's I have to say the stalled 4.10 car ran like a rapped ape and absolutely is the way to go if daily driving isn't a concern also the car ran Mickey Thompson ET Streets which were around 26". I seem to recall the car crossing the 1/4 mile in the low twelves at around 107 or 108 and he wasn't hanging off the rev limiter. However the 3.73's in my own car, which I do drive daily, provide a nice compromise if you do any highway driving and I also run the Mickey Thompson ET Streets in a 315 which is just south of 26".

I have a 99Z cam-only, A4 w/4500 vig. with the 10 bolt w/4.10s it ran 11.66@115 1.57 60' at Atco in good air!!! Broke that rear, went to moser12 w/373s, at Cecil Co. opening day it ran 11.80@113 1.58 60' Air wasn't as good, track was new, new mt/drs, heavier wheels, the 60' was my best ever at Cecil Co. I think the gear change slowed the car down..... about rpms, 6400 w/410s and 6000 w/373s on 275/50-15(26") MT drs. I would go with the 410s!!! Just my 2cents. Larry.
