Need Help I bought a C5 back in 2000 and has been kept in the garage for a long time. There is no mods to the vette and it's still stock, with 19k miles on it, it has a 5.7 LS1. Any tips on upgrading or mods for the LS1.
A lid is the plastic piece in front of the throttle body that the air filter sits inside of. A lid is a common mod for us f-body guys. It's been a while since I saw a vette intake set-up but I am not sure if you guys have a lid... isnt it just this scoop thing? I think you can get some cool cold air induction kits for the vette that sucks air from the bottom. Check out sponsor sites for intakes. I want to say Vararam is a popular one for vette?

I can't help ya with the intake as I don't own a LS1 yet, but generally long tube headers are the way to go if you can get them to fit your application.
