Default "Tighten" Rear View Mirror?

Is there any way to "tighten" the stock rear view mirror? Every day on my way to work I go over some railroad tracks and it always makes my mirror move so I have to adjust it. It feels pretty loose when I move it around, is there any way to tighten it so it is harder to move? Thanks.

x2 I'd like to know this as well, the Bass in my car is always shaking the mirror and making it fall off, it would be nice to get it on there permanent

I would think that their isn't a way to tighten it casue im pretty sure its probably set up like a ball in a socket and the inside part has worn down so they are not tight enough toghter to hold it in place. If you don't want to have to buy one I would just put a bit of glue on it and set it and then if you ever need to move it just break the glue loose and move it. I don't know if you move your mirror around alot but I never touch mine so doin it ike that wouldent really bother me

yeah and as for mirrors falling off, you have to glue it. they even make a kit specifically for gluing the mirror on iirc.
