Visually on ur stock tach u want to shift at like ~5900 technically because the tach will lag as ur flooring it through the gear, esp in first. If you wait to actually see it read 6200 you will have likely hit the rev limiter before it gets there, again esp in 1st gear. I always shift when I start to see it approach 6k... when I have my HPTuners hooked it up it tell me I was actually shifting at 6000-6200. After 6100 the stock cam is crapping out quickly so there isn't really a point to go higher. Peak is ~5400 I think...

Stock cam makes good power up til 5800 RPM's. Its best to shift at 6k. When you grab your next gear you will be around 5k if you shift at 6k if I remember right. You never want the motor to fall below 5k. So shifting at higher RPM's is best just don't touch the rev limiter.
