Why would I change it to that?

And because the bay I work at is only maybe 100 ft long and the front of his truck was jacked up facing me with the sun in back of the truck making a silhouette of a thick oil stream coming out from the bottom

I had a motorcraft filter pop off after starting a fresh sbf 347 in my fox. shut car down quick and cleaned up. I checked the filter and seems that they didnt cut the threading deep enough on the filter. Could have been an expensive fix b/c of a $3 crap filter.

I've just done the same thing. Got everything cleaned up and got new oil in. Seems to drive OK but I'm hearing a weird noise now. (It's a manual transmission).

Whenever i hit the gas I hear a noise and it gets faster the higher I let the RPMs go. If I drop it into neutral it goes away. I imagine some oil shot out into somewhere it shouldn't be, maybe it'll eventually burn off....

Any ideas????
