2003 Cobra??
I was told by this Cobra guy that "my buddy has 800rwhp with 28lb on a stock Cobra motor". Now I am thinking BS b/c if this was true that why wouldn't the Pro drag racers use that motor I mean stock 800hp and on the stock supercharger. What would it do built!
I have seen 540hp on a Stock motor cobra and it lasted 3-4months before it craped out. And even the 600hp guys say "well I got 600+hp but I have it turned down on the street.
Is there a Power level they can hit and stay at relieably? with the stock motor and supercharger! Oh and that 540rwhp car ran A 11.82! I saw it!

As for someone running an 11.82 with 540rwhp, I wouldn't doubt it. There are a lot of non-driving fools. I've seen Z06's run 14's. That doesn't mean they all do.

Forget the engine, think about the S/C. The stock blower is a 112 (112ci per S/C rev). At 2:1 engine to SC overdrive, that only flows about 750 CFM. At 2.5 times engine rpm (15,000 blower rpm at 6000 engine rpm - pulley change) that's about 950 cfm (at about 11-12 psi). The Eaton blower (stock Ford) can be run reliably to about 17,000 rpm. At that cfm (950) the engine can support somewhere around 525 crank HP, maybe a little more. So I do believe 540 crank HP. The stock 4.6L bottom end could live there (don't know how long, but a while). The stock 112 S/C just doesn't put out enough CFM for 28 psi on 4.6 liters. Not even a ported 112 can do that much on a 4.6! 'Cause it still puts out only about 112 ci per S/C revolution - period. Porting only helps the output temp, not a lot on the cfm. The 112 on a 3.8 liter GM V6 only puts out 18-20 psi! The numbers just don't add up! Turbo could do it, but not a stock Eaton blower! Fun story, though.
