how many miles on the motor ?how was the oil pressure ?if you do remove the rods you will need to resize the connecting rod big end bore.can you do a leak down test ?maybe look at TSP for a oil pump and valve train combo .

lol this might end up in a fox body too..
200k on motor-- ran but - tired.. leak down i could do on stand but its coming apart for sure so..
i emailed AI - phil replied i am waiting on the price for alum heads
so far ARP bolts
ls2 timing chain
ls2 oilpump
alum heads
custom grind ai or texas or ed curtis cam
arp rod bolts
what else
should have it apart by the weekend and then see if it needs a bore or a hone will do..
if its hones out should i keep the stock pistons or toss for some summit or speedpros?

im lost here... since when did LS motors come with Cast heads... arent they all aluminum????? except for like the 99 3/4 ton's id deff switch to aluminum... Why not l92 heads, and ls3 intake and a 92MM throttle body for the ls3? square port heads are better for 6.0 engines if they get a cam to match
