I would say its a good deal. You will get a chance at building up a good engine for your requirements.

+2 on the 853's. I have 98 & 99 TA & just bought spare LS1---》all 853's

this seems like it's gunna be a hell of a car. I have been telling my stepdad he needs to do this with his 81 Camaro but is to old school for efi even though they have carb mani's... Idk. He is 41 but is as stubbern as a 80 year old.

Good luck with the build and doing it on a high school budget, we were all there at one point
