Default Blackwing filter question

Just bought a new blackwing filter for 98 z28, Can you just fit it straight in, or does it need the charging kit to be applied first? (which i don't have)

Thanks

What do you mean blackwing filter? The blackwing is a lid which is essentially an intake but if you have the complete setup it should bolt to a stock car.

The blackwing filter is an order part from SLPonline.

You may want to think about keeping the paper filter on, I switched back to paper after the recharging kit coated my MAF with that oil. Plus the reason those filters flow better is because the filter holes are much bigger hence allow more dirt to easily pass into the combustion chamber. Combined with the slow drip flow of oil from the PCV you can clog up your intake with a layer or oil and dirt (over a long time tho). Ill be taking off my PCV system once I have the time and putting on some breathers instead.
