Default new to ls1 need some help

Firstoff great forum...I just picked up a 2000 ss camaro, all stock except for lid and exhaust. Here is my question, i have a oil leak that looks like it is coming from the bell housing, so i went and bought the rear main seal and plate seal..Is there anything else that could be causing this? Heard about a filter adapter seal that could do it..Anyway to see before dropping the tranny? Any help would be great.

you could check your Oil pressure sensor. it could leak down but beings its coming out of the bellhousing, i would say its either the rear main crank sear or rear gasket. i just replaced the rear main when i did my clutch install because mine was leaking. got oil contamination on the old clutch.

On that note check the rear driver side rocker cover where the PCV hose sits in the rubber grommet. The grommet might be bad and blowing oil out there too. Which would run down the bell house as well.

There is a rear engine cover plate and also an oil dumbell in the back of the block that has an 0 ring on it.
