Well I have another friend with an 01 SS and he has similar mods as me but his is a true slp, but he has full exhaust without anything no muffler o nothing, everytime we race from a roll we are the same until 90 or so and his top end is sick he pulls pretty good after that like 1 car or 2 not sure what's with this and if anyone could tell me both automatics

Driver mod / His car's tune is better than yours / possibly better exhaust components. I was gonna say LS6 intake but you both have that.

Maybe you guys have different differential gears, and your wheels are heavier then his. Does he have any weight reduction mods? possibly untold mods like a cam or nitrous.
