Default Powder Coating Fuel Rails

Just received some LS1 Fuel Rails from one of our members and was well pleased with the purchase.I was was wondering if i could Powder Coat them?I do realize i will have to remove the Shrader Valve and Diaphram in the Regulator but other than that can this be done?

Remember powder coating is subject to VERY high heat exposure. I wouldnt do it, try polishing them instead.

I used to work at a company that all we did was powder coat. The cure oven was set to a constant 450* F. I'm not sure that the fuel rails will stand up to that heat. Have you thought about spray painting them.

Btw powder coat uses magnetism to stick to metal. Aren't the fuel rails aluminum? NVM the paint will stick to aluminum. The paint is negatively charged to the metals positive charge or vice-versa.

Aluminum wheels are powder coated all the time.

I think the heat of the powder coat process would be fine as long as they were stripped down first.(no rubber gaskets or any think else that could melt).
