Default Lucas 10w-30 High zinc oil, help!

Its time to change my oil and I have some Lucas 10w-30 "racing" oil laying around. Is this ok to put in my dd ls1? If so, how many miles could i expect out of it? Thanks!
-90,000 miles on car

I think any oil with a zinc additive would be a superior oil to protect against engine wear. Especially with the amount of threads you read about failing lifters, cam lobes and such.

I don't know how long the change interval is on the Lucas brand. You may want to check their website and do some research.

I plan on switching to Amsoil Z Rod 10W-30 oil which has zinc and phosphorus additive.
