are you trying to start WWIII with that question?

buy a borla xr-1 bullet and put it in place of the loudmouth resonator....it makes for a monstrous growl and makes all who hear it want to either go out and do the same thing as your or go find the nearest restroom w/ toilet paper and wipe their bunghole.....thats called borlamouth by the way---> you can hear it on www.ls1sounds.com

i have a 3" cutout in my ypipe and its really loud

Here's a little help on the sound I like: I'd like it to be similar to the GTO sound (I love that exhaust note).

TRUE DUALS!!! And to those who say otherwise
HAHA. j/k everyone has their own opinion about this, of course, it's like looking at girls' @#% and pickign which one is better. I think what you will come across an awful lot is: True duals best, GMMG best cat-back with some cats, or SLP DD for people who want it a little quieter.

If you want something that sounds mean, the 40 series flowmaster muffler sounds awesome on my 98Z, you can get the "american thunder"kit, which is nice, but pricey, or do like I did. I called Jeg's and ordered a direct fit 40 series for my car, had the old muffler cut out and put the flowmaster in. I liked the rectangular tips that I had and wanted to keep them.

I have a SLP loudmouth on my car with the SLP y pipe, and it sounds okay, not bad at all really, but not what I would consider badass, if I had to do it again I would have done it like this: I plan to put hooker ceramic coated longtubes with the TSP true dual system that has a couple of Dynomax bullets in it later this summer. This sounds very badass in person ( I live about 5 miles from Texas Speed and Performance and Scoggin Dickey Performance Shop.... I consider myself one lucky bastard!, Jason, Matt and Trevor are totally cool about helping people out and have a tremendous amount of knowledge to share) as I heard on a car with a moderate cam. Very cool, and wicked sounding, like a pro socker that was tuned down for street, use not too loud for me but for others it might be....I can't wait to get a setup like this for my car......just my opinion....Good luck in your search for "the sound".....

Default Exhaust Sounds on our site.

If you would like to hear different systems we have, please stop by our website. They were removed for a while but should all be back on. The best sounding we've seen are SLP, Borla, BB Tiflo, and Hooker, then Corsa. Corsa is too calm for a lot of us, unless you are running no cats and/or and LT1 motor.

I run SLP LT's w/ high flow cats/SLP Y-pipe and an open borla exhaust and I love it because whenever I get tired of the loudness I pop in a plate its quieter but still sounds unbelievable!!
