Default stock ls1 rocker trunions

hey guys, Iam new to this forum and was wondering if i could get some advice.
I am doing my first cam swap with my friend and we are installing a tsp 228r with single beehive valvesprings and upgraded pushrods, also with new timing chain the car has around 114,000 miles on it and i was wondering if the stock rockers, without the upgraded trunions, will last for a while till i get some extra cash for the upgrade seeing as i already orderd my parts, and am short of funds at the moment. ps the engine internals looked great, the car had been taken care of. any help appreaciated

IMO, your already in the car taking the rockers out anyways for the swap, might as well upgrade them now rather than gambling with the stock ones breaking or creating more work for yourself down the road having to take the car apart just to do rockers. They are only $139.99 from TSP

I would do them while the car is apart. I don't like to do work 2 times if I don't have to.

look over the rockers ,if they feel smooth and no needle bearings are missing they should be ok for now.if you can borrow the $$$ from a friend do them now .

Dont worry about the rockers I would at least replace the lifters with some Ls7s because they are more prone to breaking.
