Will a 10 bolt rearend from a LT bolt into a LS?

it can, but there are many different factors even just between models of the same year. Some are 4 channel (TCS) some are 3 channel. The brakes are different.

You're better off just getting a 98+ one they are cheap.

Ok thank you. I ask because I have a lt 4.10s in it and the ls I'm picking up has stock gears. I'll find out 3 or 4 channel this weekend.

just swap the carrier and gear set, wand make sure the reluctor ring will work with the LS if not pop off the ring gear, swap the reluctor, and put the gear back on. I wouldnt swap the whole housing.

I was able to make it work. I swapped the axles and brake backing plates from the LS rear into the housing of the LT rear. I had to grind the axle tube backing plate flanges on the LTs housing to accept the LSs backing plates where the speed sensors are but other than that super simple. Got my 4.10s back!!!
