Your going to get alot of different opinions on this. I would say the TSP 228R is one of the best overall cams because its easy to drive and it doesnt lose torque down low. My second choice would be the TSP Torquer V2. I almost ran that cam but in the end I was happy that I went a bit smaller.

if money isn't an issue you should get a 9inch or s60 rear end instead of a gear. stock 10 bolts are junk. I went through two on my 99 with bolt ons only. strange and moser make direct bolt ins

Those are the two I see people pick the most here on the forums.

I'd also point out that you shouldn't neglect the suspension. Turning is just as important as raw power, and you need to get that power to the ground.

Talk to Strano or the BMR guys. I'm going to give them a call this week and figure out which pair of shocks fit me best.

OP, are you looking for a suspension setup that's more suitable to the dragstrip or for cornering or what?

There's no need for a different maf, the stock one will work fine.

Not unless you can get a really good deal on a used one, and sell your ls6 intake. Otherwise an Ls6 will be fine for 400whp

I'd like it to handle the best possible it'll mostly just be a toy for the street but maybe a few passes on the drag strip and do you guys have any input on eBay headers?

Here are the parts I've installed recently, we did what I would consider a 'total' suspension upgrade (but I did not upgrade K Member, maybe in the future when I get engine pulled and rebuilt). Shop suspension parts by your year car, model and type engine, and tranny.

I'm pretty much a budget shopper, I rarely race car (I only have 385rwhp and is more of a weekend warrior). I shopped, finding deals, vendor coupon codes on facebook, here, etc. Some parts off Ebay, etc. I'm VERY happy with this build, drives better than new, just the best I've ever driven.

Vogtland lowering springs (bought on Ebay) German made, excellent quality
SLP Bilsteins (were cheaper than the basic Bilsteins) and came complete with bushings and hardware.
Founders Lower Control Arms and LCA relocation brackets
Founders Panhead bar (all from Founders)
Moog inner and outer tie rods (from either Rock Auto or Partsgeek)
Spohn upper and lower A arms (from Spohn)
ST sway bars (heavy duty, bought on Ebay)
BMR Torque Arm (from BMR)
UMI tranny relocation bracket (from UMI)
Monroe strut mount kits (from either partsgeek or Rock Auto)
Strano bump stops (from Strano)
Rebuilt Rack and Pinion (from O'reilly's, not pictured), Royal Purple fluid
Computer alignment at a local shop.

I'm going to install an external power steering cooler soon.

I could have bought all from 1 or 2 vendors but I didn't buy at once. hope this gives a good idea of the vendors (all really good and committed for our platforms). Take your time and good luck
