leaking coolant temp sensor ? looks like it starts higher than the plug, also is that a broken head of a exhaust bolt ? Gm has 13mm headed exhaust bolts instead of the 10mm headed bolts that are more durable and wont shear off

Not fun. Had to do a head bolt and rocker bolt that broke on me. Head bolt was easy. Gave up on the rocker bolt and took it to a shop. Didn't want to ruin the head with how far down it broke off in the hole.

ls6 cam would be a waste of effort IMO. go ahead and get you a after market cam that's mild and you will be more happy. Don't be one of those guys that wished he would of went bigger. if $ is a issue just find you a nice used cam from a good source on here.

mid 220s and upper 500 lift should be fine.
Ls6 cam specs are... lift .479/.467 duration 196/207 LSA 116
In a LM7 5.3 like I posted before Ls6 cam results 376 hp @ 5900 rpm
389 tq @ 4500 rpm
factory 5.3 cam done 353hp @5200 rpm
384tq @4300 rpm
all up to you is it going to be a drag car or you want a healthy street car ?
