Got shot down, I went to two Autozones today and they didn't have german made 0w30. Each store had a different labled 0w30 bottle. One was black with a red stripe across it, the other had red lettering. Both were US mfg, and didn't even know what the german made version was

we should have patman stock up on this stuff and buy it from him

patman- what intervals would you recomend for the german castrol? the car is a daily driver. thanks.

You would have no problem going 6000 miles on this oil. I plan on going as much as 8 or 9k on it this summer. (I'm going to follow the oil life monitor and let it decide)

Patman, if I have dino oil in my car now (which I cant be sure but suspect I do). Should I still wait 6k miles after putting in the GC. Or change it once sooner then go with 6k intervals?

For the first run of GC after switching from dino, I'd probably say to go with a 5k interval, then after that you could go 6k or more.
